Thrift town is definately a downfall of mine, I will certainly find a good deal on too many things which i certainly don't NEED but simply can't pass by...That said, I needed to find a cute lamp for Lacy's room. Armed with a 10$ coupon, I had to use before it expired, a 10$ bill, a mission and 1 hour of free time I stopped. I perused the hoodies...as I am always on the lookout for one as comfortable as the ones I borrow from Andre-nothing-Checked the water bottles, as I am not buying bottled water anymore-SCORE-...1-29 cent little pink one (which i will sterilize for those of you who are gagging)...as I wandered by the bags I spotted a Roxy brand knap-sack...Lacy has been packing a sling bag to school which for some reason they manufactured too small for a math book? It was 4.99 looks brand-new..a little high priced however it earned a "drive-around" the store...The lamps were a dissappointment...either too tall, too old (grandma lamp) or just plain daft...nothing was just right...carry on to the shoe department I scored brown boots (again for Lacy) "stylish" as she would call them, perfect for cold days and skirts... A few other treasures were hauled around and tossed as I skimmed the kids clothing...a sucker for a name brand deal, I caved when i found a black Childrens place skirt with a super softy shirt to match! All together I spent $10.81. Came home and spray painted Lacy's current lamp white...painted cutesy flowers on it and was happy I had not purchased a "new" one!

This is a dumb way to send this to you, but I know that you like garage sales and I don't have your real e-mail address. Anyway, just in case you're interested.
I know I posted before, but I am having a final Garage sale tomorrow Between
10:00 and 2:00. I still have a few big items left...
27" RCA flat screen TV, coffee table, dining Table and chairs (a different
set than before), a bread maker, 3 bar stools with backs, a set of metal
shelves (one is spoken for, but I have another set), Picture frames (never
been used), Books (whole set of Work and the Glory and 3 children of the
Promise, 4 and 5 of Harry Potter hard cover, plus best sellers such as
Daniel Steel and many more), Lots of great Christmas decorations, office
supplies, plastic storage boxes, a file cabinet, a whole set of dishes (8
place setting plus two serving bowls and a serving platter, Pampered Chef
stuff, Brand new knive sets, Pans and casserole dishes, Angels,GT Xpress 101
(I have 4 of these to get rid of plus the bonus packs that came with them
and a couple recipe books for them), Silverware (stainless steel),
Silverware (real silver), Vases (some really cute ones that would make great
fish bowls), Hardly used towels, brand new Queen size sheets, A nice Queen
mattress set, blankets, a baby exersaucer (farm theme) and a few toys,
really nice winter coats, scarves and brand new gloves, some hats, Women's
clothing (old lady type clothes sizes L,XL,XXL) Some mens sweaters XL, Mens
suits (also brand new, my dad was 5' 11" and 285 I don't know what that
means in mens sizes, but if you know a "Big and Tall" man send him over,
these suits are really nice), Medical equipment for elderly or handicapped,
a really nice wall clock (the big one at Macey's Grocery store still in
box), two sets patio furniture (1st with 6 chairs, table, lounge chair and
umbrella, 2nd set is a small round table and two chairs... really cute!),
small computer desk, Doctor's office scale and lots more...
Come take a look or tell anyone who may need any of these things to come
take a look! (At this point I am desperate to get rid of everything!
Everything must go... Everything has to be gone by Tuesday. My mom's house
is sold on Thursday and has to be clean!) If you can't make it at these
times just give me a call and we can make arrangements.
